I'm not really in Taiwanese dishes, but this tasted different. The soup, the cabbage, the fried fish head were excellent delish and so delicious. Must eat when you visit Chiayi
We were impressed and proud of Smartfish Revenue明 Delete魚 After seeing the documentary “Street Food” on Netflix, who introduced signature dishes in every city. Smartfish was found in 1953 and is famous for its Stewed Fish Head in Casserole in the neighborhood. There are different and more options on their menu, so it is a perfect place for gatherings to order a few replaceable plates. We have their Stewed Fish Head in Casserole for 4-5 persons, Mixed Veggies, Fried Bamboo, Boiled Intestine and Shaved Turkey via Rice to share with a group of six. The part was huge and the soup of the insole is refillable. The food was amazingly delicious, especially the caserole, as most ingredients were soft and tastefully braided. However, the broth was a little greasy and heavy, so we would recommend ordering the size that is smaller than the actual party size in your group.
Very tasty, many people want to eat there, many line
Fair price. With her queue we can walk around. Enjoy special fish hotpot with bitter soil making a fresh feeling in your mouth. I'll bring it to my family for the next time.
They have the flagship store and another one less than 3 mins walk down the road. The original store is always crazy long queue so we didn't bother and went to the other one instead. Doesn't disappoint. Has a bit of a smaller menu, but essentially the same signature items, the fish meat with veggies was just 110 NT, 1.5 big chunks of fish meat with all my favourite ingredients in the broth (tofu, bean curd skin cabbage etc). So definite thumbs up for this place! Thankfully we didn't have to wait at all unlike with the other store. Edit: Came here again the next day, although this time takeaway due to the longer queue, it has a slightly higher price for takeout but the quality isn't compromised in anyway. We actually preferred escaping the hustle and bustle of the crowd and ate in the comfort of our hotel room.
