The unagi rice is prepared to its perfection and the Japanese rice remains the best. It is very pricy though. Go when there are promotions to get better value. Healthy veggies are rare as side dish or a la carte. The service is good, and wheat tea will be served upon seating and refilled constantly.
Fully packed during lunch time but service was really good. Servers were prompt polite. Sashimi is fresh its unagi cooked very well crispy not overly seasoned. Quality food good service though quite pricey. Would recommend this hidden gem to those who like good quality food.
Even non-eel lovers love this place! Great quality. Only thing is the price is a bit steep but that's the price you have to pay for really good food these days i suppose!
One of my favorite Eel rice in Taipei!! They came directly from Japan so I guess the recipe is authentic. We tried roasted, steamed and non seasoned flavors. All of them were amazing! The best part was that they handled the bones well enough. Even though the meal looks just like the combination of Eel and rice, the dish tastes quite rich. The roasted eel skin is crunchy and a little bit sticky, the steamed one is pretty soft so your tongue can easily crush it. If you can’t visit Japan soon, this is a place you should try!
