Pilya! Basta Cuisine - Taiwala

My long time quest is over. I have finally discovered a perfect Laksa in Panglao just as I expected it to be only at a small food strip. Like a hole-in-the-wall gastronomic exploration kind of thing. All the ingredients combined is like an orchestra in my mouth. Beautiful plating, clean and very polite staffs. Also, another interesting thing at Pilya is that, they upgrade the usual Filipino dish to the next level so you will always find a surprising treat with delicious and famous Pinoy dishes that is acceptable to international or any critical palate. Also when you ate here with your kids and they want to eat there again it means this establishment serves something good.Truly highly recommended.Try it you wont regret.

Amazing Beef Ribs!! Definitely worth the visit! Not a great location (better to come here for lunch rather than dinner) but the waiter is very nice and the service extremely fast. Will come back for those ribs!

Thoughtfully prepared, delicious and comforting food. Pilya may just be the best meal to be had while you're in Alona and def worth a visit or two. Hope to see Pilya have the separate stand-alone resto that it deserves someday!

Finally something different along the strip of Alona ! I was getting tired of the same food along the strip . Pilya provides flavorful and sumptuous meals. Big servings and great service too !

The food and drinks at Pilay were awesome! When you're over the mediocre restaurants along the beach and want a good meal for a change, I would definitely suggest coming here. The beef ribs were especially good. They fall off the bones and are full of flavor - not an easy feat for beef ribs.
