Pyramid Beach Resort - Taiwala

We went there to eat fresh seafood. At least this is what we expected when they expose it to you just in front of the sea. I've chosen the 'fresh and expensive prawns', but they were so frozen , unflavored and the skins were almost impossible to peel, as usually happens with frozen prawns. Very disappointed. My friends choose Pad-Thai and it was horrible too. I really don't recommend this place to eat.

Superior house is really big and nice. Groundfloor sitting area and also balcony with space for 2. The food in the restaurant is good and every night it is bizzy. Personal is good and friendly. Location is right next to the beach with some laying chairs for guests, some music at the back ground.

That is definitely not the best place to get your money's worth. The menu is much more expensive than other places on the beach, and same goes for the bar. I had a mojito 2.5 times the price of the place next to it, and it really tasted bad. However, the location is pretty cozy and centrally located on Alona Beach.

Very nice hotel with excellent staff. will stay again. One of the nicest places in the world Iv'e stayed in.

Seafood and meat bbq dinner is great. Good variety of seafood. Prices a bit stiff though but taste makes up for it. Please try their radish sauce with a barbecued hungarian sausage and the adobong squid in black spicy sauce - makes you eat a whole platter of rice! Wait staff is very attentive and the dining area although near the walk path is not crowded or very noisy.
