Cafe Kazanci - Taksimo

Our Airbnb is about 2 minutes walk. We decided to come here since it has been raining off and on the whole day. The place is small, good enough for 2 or 3 small tables. They informed us that they are only doing take out tonight due to the rain. Perfect since we wanted to go back to the apartment and eat there. Good selection with chicken and beef selection and prices are inexpensive. We ordered 2 main courses, and it comes with a side salad, french fries, over rice or noodles/pasta. The mixed grill plate was just okay, it was missing something. The chicken plate was good. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Just made my first order to office, arrived around a decent time, well packaged. My dish was nothing special, plain chicken breast with rice and salad, so that doesn't really count, but the soup was good. I believe they use real vegetables instead industrial additives like Knorr etc., amd that's a huge plus for me. Will try other dishes in the menu over time and perhaps edit my review accordingly.

Inexpensive simple fare. Hefty portions too. Maybe not the most refined of food but certainly one of the better ones in Istanbul

The food is fresh and of great quality. There is a choice of healthy food. I do not mind ordering from them three days in a row because it's simple and delicious
