The Japanese restaurant is more specialized today due to the competition. if you want to ramen, there are many ramen house selection. if they want katsu, there are many different katsu restaurant to choose. So, what about the typical Japanese restaurant that offers everything. they end up...to the top with a typical Japanese culinary experience. what will this restaurant distinguish from other Japanese restaurant? typically not much. I ate her bentobox, usda steak. it is good, but it is also the same typical Japanese culinary experience as with other Japanese restaurant.
Eat too oily, they would suggest ordering something that does not fried. cocktails are in the happy hour 20 o'clock. green apple mojito was good. it is very quiet than the usual places. no music alone. courtesy food court, hole in the wall. it is a. good casual place to hangout.
We visited the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and were pleased to find that it was not crowded, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted simply, without the loud Japanese greetings often heard in other Japanese restaurants. Our server, a man named Miko, impressively took our order of 12 items solely from memory. In contrast, the female staff members at other tables used paper and pencil to take orders, despite those tables ordering fewer items than our group of six. The food we ordered, including various dishes like sashimi, sukiyaki, udon, tofu, and gyudon, was of regular good quality. Our water glasses were promptly refilled and Miko also accurately served each dish to the correct person. The other staff members assisting us were efficient and professional. Overall, we were impressed with the service and wondered who trained these employees.
Yumi is a beloved restaurant for our family when we want to feel comfortable. Our go-to dishes include spicy tuna sushi, chicken teriyaki, tonkatsu, salmon teppanyaki, spicy ramen, and mixed tempuras. When we have a big appetite, we opt for the bento box. We appreciate that they ensure hot dishes stay hot and cold dishes stay cold. The service is friendly and efficient. The only downside is that the tables could be bigger, but that might just be because we tend to order a lot each time we visit.
