Foraker - Talkeetna

After reading the reviews, I found that our experience at the restaurant was significantly better. We were seated right away and served water promptly. Our server, Shane, introduced himself within minutes. All nine of us in our group enjoyed our meals and shared flavors and wine. Keep in mind that we visited late in the season, in an area with mostly seasonal employees. Overall, we had a great dining experience.

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the views were lovely. I would rate the food and service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5.

Before even sitting down at the restaurant, I was taken aback by the poor service. We stood at the check-in spot for almost 10 minutes, making eye contact with the servers to no avail. When someone finally did come to assist us, she was incredibly rude. Despite reading reviews about the bad service, we decided to give it a chance. However, it was a mistake. We were here to celebrate my boyfriend's 40th birthday and were hoping for a nice experience, but we would have been better off at a food truck with friendlier staff. If the employees here are so unhappy, perhaps it's time for the business to reconsider their operations.

Extremely rude staff! To start we waited 15 mins for a hostess and when she finally showed up she just stared at us not saying a word. My telekinesis isn't great so I wasn't able to talk with the wait staff! Price per person: $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
