I am being very generous with a 3 star rating. The only reason that I am willing to give 3 stars is because the food is actually good. This store has problems! First; the inside and outside is in disrepair. Secondly; the employees readily admit that the dine in has been shut down for 2 years, since covid started. They failed in doing the simple task of updating Google, so customers can be made aware. Lastly; the employees do not understand simple instructions. For example; I said, I want two spaghetti 's . I learned later that they don 't understand that I mean I want two orders. There mind automatically goes to how many meatballs you want. When I informed them that I didn 't get two spaghettis; they were convinced I ordered one spaghetti. So I went back in and said, I want to order one order of spaghetti . The employee questioned, So you only want one meatball ? There is better pizza qt Momo 's , and better Lasagna at Tour of Italy . The spaghetti was probably best in town I can not recommend this store.
I’ve heard this place was great, so I was really disappointed in the pizza we ordered…a margherita. It had no sauce (and I realize some people do this on purpose, but I would’ve liked to known), but mostly it was the greasiest pizza I’ve ever seen in my life; I guess there IS such thing as too much cheese. The crust seemed to be ok (what I could try that wasn’t wet from oil), so I’ll venture to try them again, but order something different; also because the people we’re super nice.
As a North Transplant (Job Transfer) I am here to tell you co-transplants that this can be the best you will get in Tallahassee. You just have to try yourself. The tomatoes had taste, the basil was fragrant, the crust was quite good (and thin!!! and the sauce was not watery. We tried a few other places and were very disappointed, but Brickyard was a pleasant surprise.
We made a couple of posters for closing my nephew this weekend, they were delicious. We loved the Spinat Lasagne and the pizza. So much better then try to get reservations at the final weekend. I recommend the order from here!
