We’re so glad we found this place! While in the area looking for BBQ, we noticed the sign for John Knox. Although we had some difficulty figuring out its exact location following the recent shooting, we eventually made it there. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, but we were warmly welcomed by a lovely and attentive lady. She handed us the menus and patiently waited while we decided what to order for takeout. We went for the traditional pork BBQ sandwiches, and they were AMAZING! I ordered coleslaw as a side, which I absolutely loved, though I wish the portion had been a bit larger. The food was prepared quickly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and this will definitely be our go-to BBQ spot from now on!

I wanted to post photos of the food, but I didn't get the chance. My daughter had the tender meal while my son had a burger. I really enjoyed the freshly made coleslaw, and my chopped pork was excellent. The sauce for the fries with cheese was a bit too spicy for my taste. Overall, I would definitely come back!

The baked potato was fantastic! I highly recommend it. However, the baked beans tasted like they came from a cheap store brand, so I have to take off one star.

Our waitress knocked it out of the park today and helped to get our food quickly as we had an annoyed/sleepy toddler. And the food was great. I had a pig BBQ baker and my wife had a chicken BBQ Baker and since it was Father's Day, I also got a side of Fritten. Because who doesn't love roasted potatoes with their baked potato blankets in BBQ?!
