Island Seafood - Tallahassee

First we say that this was not our first choice, but it was the best! when I say that our food was not only served wonderfully, it was delicious! we really enjoyed our evening and our server b was excellent. very attentive and sweet, we will definitely come back!

I couldn't believe that they were open until midnight! I sat at the bar and the bartender made a custom lime drink with a slash of OJ! It was delicious. I don't drink soda, it was too late for tea as the caffeine keeps my up, so I asked if she could make me something with lime and she did not disappoint! I had the fried Red Snapper with fried shrimp and the garlic sides (corn, red potatoes, and a hard-boiled egg) and it was all perfection! The garlic and the island sauces to dip were unique and really tasty! Next time I come to Tallahassee, I'll be dropping in here to try something else on the menu! Highly recommend!

I had the displeasure of going to this restaurant today. I walked into the restaurant at 4:04 PM. I was greeted by the host and asked where would I like to sit. I stated I wanted to sit on the patio. She handed me the menu and did not escort me to the outside area. I walked myself outside just to find there was no tables available. I went back inside and said , there are no tables on the patio she said oh yea there are no tables……. I said well where can I sit inside , she said you can sit anywhere. All the tables on the inside were dirty. She wiped off the table. 4:10 comes … no one has came to assist. I stopped a waitress and asked who was the server for this table , she was unsure but she returned and stated they would be here shortly and no one came…. At this point it’s 430. So I left. Not one time did anyone stop and ask have I been helped. I have been to this restaurant in the past and the service is slow, but the customer service is fair and the food is pretty good which is why I returned. I hate to down talk any business yet a black owned business but the service I received today was unexceptionable. I plan to never return

Delicious food, relaxing ambiance, pleasant and helpful server, and the music was on point???! Thank you for an enjoyable first time visit. We will most definitely be back!#polkcounty
