Contribuisci feedbackOn Monday, they serve delicious cheeks in tomato sauce, kofta balls, and mixed vegetables. Tuesday offers a vegan macaroni and cheese with grilled tofu. Wednesday features an amazing Asian stir-fry and Indian lentil soup (dal). Thursday includes a spicy chili and curry. I highly recommend checking them out. Due to the temporary closure of the FSU campus because of Covid-19, they are currently operating on a pickup and delivery basis only from their location just two and a half blocks north of the FSU campus at 1323 Nylic St.
This is definitely one of the top 5 lunch spots in the city. They offer great, healthy, vegan options that can't be found anywhere else in town.
As of January 2018 I have confirmed that the food is now all vegan. The Krishna lunch is delicious and a great deal. Daru, who runs the place, is very helpful. The food is vegetarian, but many entries are vegan, so just ask. There is always rice, dal, bread, several main entries, salad, dessert, and homemade drinks. The food is based on Indian dishes and is quite delicious. It is served on FSU’s main campus every week day during the school year, but parking is difficult if you aren’t a student.
The fact that this is located on campus is perfect. I can grab a quick bite in between classes. The food is delicious and very well seasoned. Service is fast and friendly.
I used to love Krishna, but they have recently changed their menu to include both vegetarian and vegan items. I found out the hard way when I accidentally ate cheese, as they did not clearly label which items were vegan when ordering. The menu even listed "gold potatoes" instead of "cheesecakes." Make sure to ask before placing your order, as not all items are vegan.
