Peanut sauce should be a sauce, smooth, and able to be poured.Next was the chicken satay was very light in color, which made me question if is was cooked thoroughly. Chicken satay, made properly, takes a while to marinate and cook. The summer rolls were the only good thing. The employee 's negative attitude didn 't help with the experience, but I 'll give her grace and not focus on it.
Midtown Moodles Bar has a welcoming atmosphere. The food is prepared to order and served hot, not warm, which I enjoyed. I tried the Pho with Shrimp and is was very good, the dish isn't spicy but comes with peppers on the side. The fried chicken wings are friend to perfection and the Chilli sauce pairs perfectly on the chicken. Everyone was very personable. Overall enjoyed myself, would definitely would go again.
This was my first visit, and it will NOT be my last. Midtown Noodles Bar was off the chain. I had the pho with pick 3, and I felt like it was super inexpensive. I've never been to a noodle bar, so I'm unaware of the going rates. The flavor, presentation, and overall experience were awesome. Looking forward to trying another gluten-free item.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options.
The food is okay. The best was the steamed dumplings. I have no complaint about those. However, I wouldn't say the other dishes I tried tasted much like usual Thai food. The pad thai did not taste at all like pad thai due to the sauce, but it wasn't inedible. The prices are pretty expensive. There's another Thai restaurant in town with cheaper and better food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, but the seating is very uncomfortable. If you're fat or disabled, I'd recommend not eating at the restaurant. There was also a roach in the parking lot that tried to get into my car, and this was during the afternoon, not at night. It wasn't in the restaurant, but it was right outside, and that is enough for me to never go back. The food tastes fine, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting the usual tastes of Thai food.
I got the chicken katsu curry rice and boba for a drink. Simple and delicioussss. Will be back.
