Nefetari's Fine Cuisine - Tallahassee

Food was really amazing!! This place was a real good experience with our group! Minor was I was really cold inside, the waiter was a little slow, and the interior just doesn't match even they try hard to stay within theme: it's not coherent. But food was so good and that's what matters the most in the end. We had as appetizers the hummus (delicious), spring rolls and crab cakes (lots of crab meat). As mains we had several dishes and everyone emptied their plates. I enjoyed the wild mushroom ravioli with my cocktail. I would come back here for the food for sure!!

Nefertaris is a real standout in a world of mediocrity. As soon as I walked in the front door, I knew , this was going to be good. And good it is !! Excellent in all regards. Exquisite service. Great kitchen staff. Fresh foods for all diners is assured with their farm to table suppliers. Real stuff. Ive eaten there several times and will recommend it to anyone. The owners helped make a birthday outing there a truly remarkable evening for my friend, Millye, and I. The band was an integral part of it all. Nice. Just wonderful. I love Nefertaris and will be back soon as I can get below the Mason -Dixon line.

I feel bad that this was my first time eating here cause the food was fantastic. Wish I had known about this place years ago. The decor is nice and the menu has many different options to choose from. Everything was fantastic except our server but they were slightly busy so I wont hold that against her.

Only a fool would travel all the way to Tallahassee, FL, and NOT eat at Nefetari 's. I literally JUST left this delightful little gem tucked away on the outskirts of FAMU 's campus, and...wow. As if the ambiance weren 't enough, from beginning to end, the dining experience was a treat. My group of six were greeted at the door by genuine smiles, immediately ushered to a table, and within minutes, the owner came to our table to greet us and talk us through the menu. While everything looks great, I wasn 't in the mood for what I perceived as heavier pasta and sauce-y dishes, so I asked about the soups. The owner asked what I liked, and all I said was, I like seafood and cream-based soups. He asked if I like coconut milk, which I thought was ridiculous, because who DOESN 'T like coconut milk (other than coconuts , right? I replied in the affirmative and he said, I got you. Did he ever. I don 't know what kind of special magic happened back in the kitchen, but 20 minutes later I had a piping hot bowl of Thai Seafood Soup in front of me. Y 'all. Ain 't. Ready. While everyone at the table had beautiful/fragrant dishes, mine was the best. For real. Perfectly creamy, perfectly seasoned (I said I wanted a spice level of 3/10, and the chef hit the nail on the head , and perfectly delicious. Everyone at the table HAD to have a taste, even though they had the own dishes, and I begrudgingly agreed to allow (very small samples of what I felt like was MY SPECIAL SOUP. It wasn 't even on the menu. The owner/chef just made it for me. Again...Y 'all. Ain 't. Ready. While I didn 't have room in my belly for desert after the incredibly hearty (and rich! soup, others at my table did. If you 've never heard of BUTTER PECAN CHEESECAKE, your life is seriously lacking. I took a small bite and immediately regretted that I had not made the adult decision to START my dinner with dessert. Next time. Believe that, Nefetari 's. From the owner and ambiance, to the amazing food and our incredibly attentive waiter, Mr. Handsome (a.k.a. Andrew , this was a repeatable dining experience. I truly hate that I no longer live in Tallahassee (FAMU Class of 2001, HISSSSSS! , because if I did, Nefetari 's would have to designate a table just for me. They 'd HAVE to.

I highly recommend checking this spot out. They have a ton of Egyptian art throughout the restaurant which sets a cool vibe. Menu is eclectic and you'll be challenged to settle on just one dish. I got the Athena's Lamb nacho's and my life is changed. Deep fried naan bread, Greek yogurt, kalamata olives, and ground lamb. #GAMECHANGER. ALSO, shoutout to their coffee. One of the best cups I've had in a while
