I would have got 5 stars, but the waiter wore a hoodie, with the hood on, plus earpieces, music? the waiter was not encouraging or enthusiastic about being there. our fried tweeper came after some of us got our salads. my man finally got his teller after the rest of us had finished eating (5 people). the food was good.

The food was good even though the shrimp was a bit greasy, and they messed up my order. The problem was the service. My mother and I ordered our food, and after the order had been placed the waitress (Claudia) came back and said that they were out of mullet. Well my mother doesn't eat catfish, but the only other option was grouper for an upcharge. I asked since we had already ordered could the charge be waived, but Claudia said no so I asked for a manager. The manager was out so she sent over the cashier (Jackie) whom was rude and walked away in the middle of our conversation. Jackie didn't try to do anything to help the situation. I feel this could've been a 5 star experience but her nasty attitude messed it up. I am thankful for Claudia our waitress because she was a total rockstar.

Overpriced for mediocre food and service. Came in at around 7 at night and ordered an appetizer which I got about 30 minutes into the meal. When I finally got the appetizer, which was the deviled crab, it tasted awful and was undercooked. There were three between me and my boyfriend and we ate half of one and were completely disgusted. When we finally got out main course about 45 minutes into the meal it was decent, definitely not worth the $13 and $14 we paid for, but it was okay. Although our waitress was nice she didn't give us any updates on the food or why it was so delayed. When we asked other waitresses about our order they seemed to be uninterested and their answers seemed to be very vague. If they upped their service, made their food a bit more edible, and were faster then maybe I would give at least 4 stars, but since my first and last experience was despicable I don't think that'll be happening.

We went twice in a small group. lunch baskets are the best offers. fresh fried oysters, groupers, cheeses, shiny, salat and hush puppies are divinely cooked. server are always very happy and helpful. it's great.
