Newborn Truck Stop - Tallapoosa

For the first time I've been here for years and it's still a top stop for me. Parking is plentiful and clean, this is the first thing you notice as you move in.. It is $15 in the first row to park behind the fuel island that is as a reserve parking space and near the building.. $10 for others.. the building inside is clean and friendly with a relaxed southern charm of just over all you meet.. the buffet is well maintained and has a salad and dessert bar. reminds me of the old diners I used to go when I grew up in Alabama... a refreshing change from the Fast Food Truck Stops you see today. I wish there were more truck stops like that.

If you are looking for a real home cooked food while on the street, this is the place you were looking for! One last gas station. Buffet with all fixes you want and roasted chicken that is hard to beat!! True comfort food when you have driven a long hard day. Showers are now converted (05/23/22)

Best breakfast stop on our trip! meal at a good price, served by very friendly staff. We are very happy. Stop... You will see that it is much advertised before you reach the exit.

Great people here, very friendly and very helpful!! Restaurant is really good, although they are sometimes shorthanded! Showers, laundry, a small driver lounge. There is a barbecue place a Dairy queen in the front best of various ways to eat! Best truck wash since Laredo in 2006 2007! I bring my truck back here to be fixed again, quickly to the point with what's really wrong with your truck!

Sarah was awesome, 1 waitress, she was doing a great job keeping up, but it got crowded and she had to call in Marshal. Great prices. Water tasted funny. We ate spaghetti and catfish. Here again. 10/2/2021. THANKS FOR staying open and wide open spaces. Pay to park if that's what it's going to take to keep the privately owned truck stop going. Lots of nostalgic feelings here. And oh if the walls could talk, The Stories they would tell. God bless. Thanks for keeping America Rolling.
