I stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the Nomme museum and neighborhood. The service was very friendly and efficient, and our table was beautifully set with attention to detail. The menu isn't extensive, but there is a good selection of fish and meat dishes, some with a traditional Estonian flair. I particularly enjoyed the Vodka starter and Chicken Kiev.
It’s not a big place and it gives something extra to the atmosphere. Restro style in design, music on a background. We had two really nice waitresses, one heart that we were speaking Russian with each over and introduced dishes in Russian, that was soooooo sweet. Good food. We had duck, pork, fish, desserts for starters cheese and tongue. We were satisfied with our choices. Nice decoration of the plates. For Nõmme it is kind of little expensive place, just couple of eur cheaper than in center but definitely worth to be visited. Homey, calm and kind of old school.
Good food, nice atmosphere, a little too heavy on your wallet though, compared to other dining locations in Nõmme.
In that place you feel the atmosphere of 1930-1935, very cosy and and comfortable feeling.Service is friendly and most items of the menu are also typical to that period. Just try meat jelly and some vodka ,fried flounder and their special chocolate cake. You'll enjoy!
