St. Vitus - Tallinn

I wanted to like this place more as on paper it was great, 20 taps of beer and good location in Telliskivi and the decor is very traditional pub like art and tables. The tap beers were very generic and half of them were out and the service was kind of non-existent. I did see that the regulars got a lot better service, so maybe there is hope. Anyway I hope that next time the selection of taps will be better and the service brighter, can still recommend this place for a visit.

I went there with my schoolmates and with my teacher. It had an huge selection of beers; I took an hamburger that was delicious. The only problem was that it was full and that the service was slowed down by this. The place is very estonian and local.

Were not greeted once by the already annoyed waitresses. The restaurant was indeed full but managed to sit down at a small table for 4, but there were 5 of us so we pulled one chair. That apparently pissed off the waitress so much that she just refused to even greet us with any menus. After various attempts of letting the waitress know we were ready to order she refused to wait on us. After an hour wait we asked again and one of the other waitresses just told us that they don’t have time to wait on us. Super rude and awful staff, at least for that one night!!!

Time was short, having downloaded the app for the scooters (a definite if you're visiting) we made our way out of the old town to St Vitus. It didn't take too long (on the scooters), but was so worth it. St. Vitus bar is so welcoming, the staff are magnificent, the ambience is chillaxed, no stress. The beer selection is one of the best and the menu and quality of food is second to none. We had the chicken wings with loaded fries superb, 11 out of 10. If you're in Tallin a visit to St. Vitus is a must, we loved it and will definitely be back.

Really good selection of beers and ciders and a lot from Estonian makers. Perfect option for tourists to explore estonian beers and ciders. As for the snacks, cheese balls with a side of white sauce were delicious, they were the perfect size, didn’t have a too soft or hard outside, the cheese inside was warm, melted just enough, everything was balanced. Chicken wings were made with a smoky BBQ sauce and were tender, yet crispy on the outside, absolutely delicious! The loaded fries were truly amazing, served with a pot of coleslaw salad, the fries were with melted cheese and sauce, onions, and Im guessing chilli con carne on the side. For dessert, the brownie was unbelievably good, we were quite full from the snacks already but if the dessert is this good, you just have to make room for it! It was very similar to chocolate fondant (which has a soft melted chocolate on the inside), the brownie also had soft and melted chocolate on the inside, served with a ball of ice cream and raspberry jam. Definitely a must try! Service was fast and friendly, prices were affordable, the interior was interesting, the windows were open for some fresh air, and it is right next to Telliskivi Creative City!
