Reviews could and should be a full five stars, it were not for the shameful demolition that every visitor expects at the entrance of the website. this should remain a big spot on the call of this restaurant as long as the management keeps this money-grief approach.
The only good at this place is its location next to the beach. moreover they pay high prices for average food and a terrible service. it is mostly for tourist groups that do not look for other options.
The beach was interesting. go early and the curse is low and they can go far into the water and it is not deep. in the afternoon, the flut high and the beach is gone. they can still enjoy the water. snorkeling is...not worth, but the water is clean. for the service of the restaurant it was quite bad. Extremely slow and it seemed like the waiter was sleeping. Eating was ok, not bad, but not good. Specular for brazil and what they get. there is a $20 per person fee to enter. children are not charged.
Easy experience my friend and I drove to praia dos carneiros from porto de galinhas and decided to park the car in the bora bora restaurant, they have a good infrastructure for parking (for 20 brl per person, and they give them a...pass where they have access to the facilities (restaurant and bath.) we sat at one of the tables near the beach, in the restaurant they also have some loud loudspeakers where I wish they play music, but many paintings the staff of the restaurants would talk about the loudspeakers about various sales, promotions, etc., which obviously disturbs the whole relaxing experience. as a customer I would just like to sit on the beach and have a nice meal, without having to hear last request for product x, promotion y, etc. the waiter came to take our order, and we order 2 drinks and something to eat, and that is where the problems began. first, our drinks took 30 minutes to come (2 cocosn nuts, and after we finally brought the drinks, we waited another 20 minutes and the food had not yet come. that was when I called the waitress and let him know that we waited for over 50 minutes for the food we ordered. he said he'd look and then disappear for another 10 minutes. Finally, we saw him coming to us with some food, but it wasn't our food. at this point we had already waited for an hour and we were hungry and frustrated. I asked the waiter (again when the food comes, and he looked confused and tried to order in our table some other foods, which was 't what we asked. he left and then came back to the third time (because he didn't keep eating and said that unfortunately there was a mistake and they wouldn't be able to edit our order at all because eating was not available. waiting for all this, we were upset, hungry and frustrated (with reason, so we asked about the bill, and that is where we felt really disrespected as customers. we asked about the bill so that we can get out of the place as soon as possible, and the waiter, instead of just getting the bill so we could be on the way, he went to 3 different tables to supply/take food. when he finally gave us the bill, I went to the cashier myself to pay for it to avoid waiting more. I will return to praia dos carneiros, but not in this restaurant especially (only for parking, this is the only thing that works well.
Bora Bora was indicated trough the internet and also by the gas station professional. Place very well organized and clean. You have to pay to get in US$5 and stayed at restaurants area. But for my surprise there is no place at the beach in...front of the restaurant. You have to leave the Bora Bora area to reach the beach and also walk a little bit to right in order to find a very beautiful beach place. At that place you can find a hawk Ednaldo very kind and nice professional. Very cold Brahma for US$1.5. In fact Bora Bora has a nice food (shrimp for 2 US$40, Heineken long neck US$3) but that place is a kind of support area for people that want take a boat to do some tour trough the reefs. Next time I will try Beijupira restaurante besides Bora Bora and just in front the beach. Seems to have a very nice environment.
