I heard that they closed many years ago but tonight we just happen to be coming down that road due to construction and when we passed we saw the open sign. Of course we had to turnaround and go back. Unfortunately we already had dinner but we couldn't pass up the ice cream. Still as delicious as ever! Idefinitely will be going back to see how their dinners are.
Ice cream flavors like peach, and flavors you won't find in any grocery stores. One of the best ice cream I have tasted. Prices are reasonable. Friendly service. Is never overly crowded.
Great food for a quick bite, a full meal or just a stop for great ice cream. A full salad bar is also available as a meal choice. Daily food specials. We've been here a number of times and our meals were always hot and tasty.
Stopped on a whim. Although the food was quite tasty and the server, Helen friendly, prompt and courteous, I surely miss the vibe of years past. But don 't shy away from this eatery. They need patrons to believe in their efforts and will achievemuch more success. Oh, forgot to tell you our menu selections. Fried green tomatoes, Grilled Ruben and the 'special ' a BBQpulled pork sandwich. All were priced well and worth a repeat on my next visit. Next time I 'll order my dessert first so Iwon 't miss out on the delicious offerings.
Very good food. The service was friendly. It took a little bit before our food arrived, but it was tasty. The atmosphere is very neat; old-time farm type, we enjoyed that a lot. Prices were about average for these days. Their ice cream desserts areheavenly! We definitely recommend this restaurant.
