We ordered beef from the limited lunch menu, only to be presented with a tasteless and unappetizing dish that looked like it came straight from a package. The dish was accompanied by limp chips and insipid gravy, with no fresh vegetables in sight. It took an hour to receive our main course, and another hour for dessert, which was acceptable. The overall dining experience felt more like a cafeteria. This was my second disappointing meal at this restaurant, so I will not be returning.
My wife took me for my 60. Birthday dinner. The waitress who welcomed us was very friendly and attentive. We needed a quiet table because my wife has a hearing impairment, and we got a number of suitable choices. We sat in a big place and had a nice slow lunch. The steak was excellent, like my wife's chicken dish. The bottled wine was great and the desserts had to die. We both had the cream breast of Bailey, so good! The manor itself also offers an interesting atmosphere.
The decor in this time restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Our first night, apart from the decor, the open fire went so nice and cozy to go with a delicious pasta as well as a chicken with mango and cream sauce. Another night, another...Rooms still amazing decor delist food The owners are so friendly and helpful, as well as the staff
Came here as part of a tour group for lunch. We were the last in the dining room and a friendly waiter advised to sit wherever we were satisfied. And the group table didn't have enough seats for both of us. So we sat the next table. An older blonde waitress made an upswing because she had to grab more cutlery and made smart remarks about antisocialism. That was embarrassing and dissatisfied. Their acidic remarks ruined what would have been a pleasant lunch.
We arrived at our bnb late in the evening and they suggested we dine at The Manor. Despite our last-minute late night booking, the staff graciously accommodated us. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and professional. Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcome and relaxed. The pumpkin soup was the best I have ever had!
