Jade Gardens - Tameside

This place was amazing. It was my first time here and I will definitely be back. I appreciate that they serve smaller plates and everything is cooked fresh to order.

My wife and I decided to have Chinese food last night, even though it's not her favorite. When we arrived, we were greeted with Prawn Crackers and dips. I ordered the mixed starter and my wife had Duck, which we shared. For our main dish, we chose Garlic and Chilli Beef with Yung Chow fried rice. Each dish was tasty and even my wife enjoyed it. We also had 4 Strongbow ciders, and were pleasantly surprised when the bill came to only £50. I left a £10 tip as we were very satisfied with our meal. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but the kitchen was buzzing with deliveries going out constantly. I would highly recommend this place!

Ordered the food online at 7:30PM and it arrived 9:10PM. I called at 8:35 because the app said it had been delivered but it hadn’t and I was told it would be another 10 15 mins because the traffic was bad??? When the food arrived it was rancid completely revolting in smell like the meat was several days or weeks already rotting. The chips were like sticks of wood and almost impossible to cut or bite into a chainsaw would have struggled. I would never order from Jade Garden in Ashton Under Lyne ever again and I would’t recommend it at all to any body. KEEP AWAY

Ordered food at 8 still hadn’t received by 9. Rang up to question how much longer food would be, to be assured it was five to ten minutes away. After twenty minutes I rang again to be told they didn’t have an order from us and it was someone with a similar postcode they then asked what app we had used. Was then told they hadn’t worked with all eats for two years. Although I have a previous order from last year through the same app. Woman said she couldn’t do anything and I would need to contact all eats for a refund. Contacted all eats for a refund for them to confirm they do still work with them but sometimes they don’t turn off the orders machine when they aren’t accepting orders from this app. Had to wait for all eats to contact the takeaway to confirm the order hadn’t been completed and they could refund the money as Jade garden had accepted the order there end despite lying to me telling me they don’t take orders. Ended up with no food and waiting days for a refund after being lied to twice. Wouldn’t advise ordering from here if you actually intend on eating as it’s hit or miss whether they will actually deliver your food and when you speak to them you won’t get any straight answers.

What a lovely restaurant! We enjoyed the all you can eat ‘buffet’ on a quiet Wednesday evening. Every dish was delicious, the service was faultless, and the portions were filling without overfacing us. The mixed platter starters were a particular highlight. If we ever find ourselves in Ashton-under-Lyne again, we’ll go straight back.
