Village Chippy - Tameside

I've used this chippy In the past and it was OK, the last time I used it I got a fish Dinner it Was awful but I give it the Benefit of the Doubt and tried it again this time the chicken ball was all thick soggy Batter and a bit of chicken lukewarm and tasted **** also got salt n pepper chips again awful chips was hard also just warm it cost me £15 with the drivers tip and the lot went In the Bin cheers village chippy for nothing . Avoid this place people now I know why they only accept cash .

Loved your food, but went and ordered chou main and got the shock of my life. Not had this for a while and you have added water chestnuts to it. WHY it was horrible spoilt the whole meal. Waste of money. Have you got a new cook?? The battered chicken was a bit over done, usually very succulent. Thinking twice now

Eat a lot of Chinese meals and tried different chippy's but this one comes out top every time. Won't be looking for anything better from now on. Found it! Delicious food and pleasant staff. Never had a complaint about anything. Keep up the good work guys x

I went to Village Chippy with some friends for the first time and we wanted to grab a bite to eat. It took 30 minutes to get our order correct, and when I finally received my food, it was not what I had ordered. When I went back to complain and check the food, I was told that I was lying about it. The food quality was very poor and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
