Barterhouse Ybor - Tampa

There is a sewage smell that ebbs and flows. Call ahead and see if someone will tell you what it smells like. We ended up only having one drink and leaving. I have eaten here before and it's really good food and great ambiance. It's the building's problem, not the restaurant.

What an amazing dinner. The food was incredibly delicious. Drinks were also perfection. Service was spot on. Our only complaint was that it was hot, their AC was broken, but that was a minor inconvenience, we will be back.

There was no air conditioning, it had broke and it was oppressively hot inside. We had to leave.

First time there and it was great. Food was very well done and great taste. Our server, Lexi was very nice and attentive (request her). The AC was broken which made it very warm but they apologized for it and surely it is not something they routinely experience. Would definitely go back!

We love coming here, mostly because the ambiance is amazing and the service is usually good. The food leaves a little to be desired, especially given the price, but it's worth coming back for the full experience. My husband's fave is the pork shank, and I love the new spicy sauce they serve with the shrimp appetizer!
