Lobster was perfectly boiled, Steak Filet medals cooked so that they still melt in the mouth. Calamari was also well cooked, not gummy. The service was not the best, but we had a big group. Server might have been a bit more attentive, but not bad overall. I would definitely return as there were articles that others ordered that looked and said were delicious.
Enjoy the Connecticut lobster roll. Wonderful! The bread is so fresh and delicious. The lobster is tender and melts in the mouth. The service with Jorge was incredible. Would definitely recommend.
The food was better than expected. Had the delicious shells many shells and not excessively creamy and thick. Chicken roasted rice came out hot and tasty and lobster tacos were a good offer at 2 for $11. The greatest disappointment was the service that no one has brought for children until he was asked, the food lasted long and the server was very unstoppable. Otherwise a nice addition to Bay Street.
I kept this place on my radar as they were opened first because lobster rolls are one of my favorite foods. We came a Sunday to brunch to get good seafood, maybe a drink or two, and give them a shot as our favorite lobster roll restaurant is an hour away from us. We started drinks. I ordered a drink that was like a blue Hawaiian, but had a kind of tampa on Hawaii Five-O type of name. The Hubby ordered a French 75, his favorite. Mine was very strong! More than I usually wanted, but it was still tolerable. I had only one since it was early and that would have illuminated me like a Christmas tree. We separated a cup of lobster bisque, as we both wanted to try it, but we didn't want to have everyone because it could be too rich with lobster rolls. The soup was amazing. There are lobster pieces in it and there were even claws in it. The lobster rolls were good, but not the best I ever had. I went with the original lobster meat with Mayo and salad on a roasted bungalow. The Nabeby went with the Cleveland style, which was heated meat, with salad, and a lemon sauce on it. To be honest, I didn't notice any difference in taste except that he was warmer than mine. I ordered the apple slav and the boiler chips for my pages. The chips were good, fresh and homemade and were not fat. The Apple Slave was a beautiful bite with green apples, but I tend to like my sweeter so I might have used a red apple instead of sweet factor. Hubby ordered the lobster Mac and cheese that was also ingenious; many crabs and the bread crumbs above are a nice touch. It is a great place for lobster, no matter what kind you order. It is a great little place to go after shopping or just meet with friends. The lobster bisque was my favorite and I can't expect it to get colder.
There were plenty of restaurant options to choose from in this area and we are glad that we choose this one! My Connecticut lobster roll was both delicious and filling. My girlfriend had a crab cake sandwich that was also amazing. We both loved the kettle chips, and the apple coleslaw was her favorite! The drinks were great and the bartender did not skimp on the liquor. I had a **** and she had a strawberry margarita. Our server Amber was attentive and polite and we will definitely be back for more! Thank you for the good food, drinks and service!
