We chose a booth and were guided down a long corridor to a large, comfortable, and private booth. The decor reminded us of a ship’s cabin, perfectly capturing the vibe of the place. The menu was a decent size, offering something for every taste and dietary need. Overall, the restaurant was immaculate and tidy, with all the chairs aligned in the same direction and napkins and place settings neatly arranged at every seat. It was clear that the staff takes pride in their work, and the ambiance was visually pleasing. Our server was prompt, kind, and even shared some insights about the city and its attractions, which we greatly appreciated since we were visiting from Fort Myers, a few hours away. She was friendly enough to chat with us for a bit and consistently kept our drinks filled. For drinks, we ordered water and Pepsi (it was a bit too early for us to indulge in cocktails). For our main courses, we tried the grouper sandwich and the Impossible burger. Both dishes came with hot, perfectly seasoned potato wedges, and the rolls for our sandwiches were incredibly fresh and fluffy. The grouper was blackened to perfection, and the Impossible burger was juicy and packed with flavor. Overall, this was a fantastic place to discover! We would highly recommend it!
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly. Parking can be a bit challenging, so it's something to consider, but the staff are more than willing to assist if you need help. Most of our food was delicious, except for the seafood risotto I ordered. While the risotto and vegetables were excellent, the seafood—lobster, scallops, and shrimp—was overwhelmingly salty to the point that I couldn't eat it. The manager was gracious and apologized, even removing it from our bill, but I was quite disappointed as I really love seafood and had looked forward to it. On a positive note, the key lime pie was fantastic. There aren't many gluten-free options, but a few are available. The restaurant is very accessible for those with disabilities and features an elevator, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the view. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked, although it is somewhat narrow, which might pose challenges for those who need more space.
This restaurant is a fantastic addition to the downtown area! We decided to stop by after Gasparilla for a bite to eat before catching the trolley, and we were pleasantly surprised. It was our first time visiting, and despite the busy night, we only waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The food was absolutely amazing! The sushi was delicious, and I’m thrilled to have more sushi options in downtown. The crab bowl was outstanding—perfectly seasoned and reasonably priced. The staff was incredibly friendly, and even on such a busy night, the restrooms were clean with staff regularly checking to ensure paper towels and toilet tissue were stocked. Overall, it’s a great place, and I highly recommend it! The manager on duty was warm and just as dedicated to customer service as the rest of the team.
Had a great visit while in Tampa on vacation on a weeknight. Would imagine this place is hopping on a weekend or event night as huge. We had superb service and enjoyed our meal outside, it was a great evening for that. Started with Conch critters and Tater kegs. The kegs were a great take on a classic appetizer but Conch was more filling without a distinct taste, but still ok. We both went with the Monday shrimp special and well worth it. So many shrimp ???? The sausagehad great flavor as well. We saw after we placed our order you can add mussels for just $5 more so would suggest taking advantage of that. They have some great cocktails off the menu so give them a try. Regret this restaurant not local tous based on our location but will certainly return if we find another location in our travels.
The food was terrible. I ordered the shrimp and crab quesadillas, but they were overloaded with corn, beans, and cheese, with barely any seafood in sight. To make matters worse, the music was so loud it drove us from our seats.
