Hula Bay Club - Tampa

This is hands down the best poke bowl I've ever tasted! The restaurant is situated in a fantastic location with a lovely view of the water, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating available. The kids' meals were impressively high-quality, featuring freshly cut mango and orange slices—it's those small details that truly make a difference. The manager was exceptional; she promptly found us a table as soon as she saw we had hungry little ones. That thoughtful gesture really added to our experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We started with the tuna nachos, which had great presentation but were just okay in terms of flavor, and they felt a bit overpriced for what we received. For the main course, we ordered the grilled grouper sandwich and fries, both of which were delicious and reasonably priced. We also tried a poke bowl that was of excellent quality, though it lacked a bit in variety of toppings. The extensive drink menu, featuring several good beers on tap, complemented our meal well. Overall, we had a solid dinner experience in a lovely location with good service (after our initial encounter) and we're looking forward to returning to try more dishes from the menu.

The food was fantastic! We kicked things off with some conch fritters, which were absolutely amazing! I also really enjoyed the fried shrimp. We opted for outdoor seating on the deck, and Hula Bay offers such a beautiful view with lovely scenery of the water and boats. The service was excellent too.

First time trying Hula Bay Club and was pretty impressed. The fried snapper with pineapple chutney on top was amazingly delicious ! Paired well with coconut Jasmine rice and a fresh lime. The ceviche was excellent and paired with house made chips which were to die for. We also had the coconut shrimp and fajita steak tacos which were enjoyed. Dynamite oysters weren’t so great. Service was great and ambience was beautiful. Will return again!

Perfectly cooked pork chops and the flavor was excellent. I might just be biased , I love teriyaki. I had the classic margarita which fell a little flat for me . But the Hula Bay Hurricane was delicious. I should've gotten the sushi because my friend who worked there said it was the best. I'll definitely try it next time !
