The location is unique being in a Hyde Park home with a garden area and nice porch for seating areas outside. There is, as I recall, one maybe two small tables inside, but it is set up that you order and then move outside. I loved the offerings of food from hot food options to baked goods, including gf options. We had coffee, a slice of quiche and a scone. They were all good, but the quiche crust was soft rather than the flaky crisp crust expected. Perhaps that is the way it is heated? The scone I had, while tasty, was supposed to have chocolate in it. I had one piece of chocolate in the entire thing. The coffees were good, but not as enjoyable in a paper cup. We enjoyed it, but it wasn't our favorite coffee shop in Tampa. I'd still recommend it because the location and experience are so nice, as is the owner.
Had a wonderful time today at this location. The food was really good and fresh. I also ordered the iced chai latte it was wonderful. Service was great and very informative.
My favorite coffee shop in Tampa. A kind and charismatic mother-son duo run the place and they are a gem for our community. I love bringing my dog and enjoying their outdoor seating on cooler days. I always get the Cafe Borgia, it’s unique and absolutely delicious. I also love that I can ask for my coffee in a ceramic mug instead of the to-go cups
Every Sunday my bf and I visit a new coffee shop to try. Not sure how it took us this long to find this gem but we are so happy we did! For starters, the owner is so sweet and engaging and it seems like she loves to get to know the people who walk through her door. Being a Folk/Bluegrass fan, she even gave me a suggestion on a band to listen to, The Infamous Stringdusters, who we ended up listening to for the rest of the day (Thank you so much btw we LOVED them! . I got a Milky Way and my bf got a Cafe Borgia, both AMAZING and so different than your typical specialty drinks. We also shared a Sconewich, which was delish. Besides the yummy menu, this is the kind of place we love to go. It’s chill, the vibes are good and the best is it’s local owned. This place will be a frequent stop for our Sunday coffee excursions!
The omelette and latte were very good. Plus the owner is so sweet.
