Toki Japanese - Tampa

This is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Tampa, the miso soup and takoyaki are my favorite starters, tempura bagel, dragon roll, eel and firecracker are the best. 100% recommendable!

Sushi will and will always be good… chicken teriyaki isn’t good at all! Don’t order chicken teriyaki! Sushi is phenomenal! I’ve had their sushi sooo many times it’s amazing! But that chicken teriyaki they literally need to sit down and try and think it’s somehow good… it’s not! Sushi good worst chicken teriyaki I had! Gave five stars for sushi! Quit making chicken teriyaki! It sucks. I’m super surprised by no comments talking about the teriyaki chicken?!?! I gave them five stars cause everything else is good but dried up chicken breast in watered down teriyaki sauce is unacceptable! I really hope you pull your act together with either taking the teriyaki off your menu completely or making it betterш

I visited for the first time today and enjoyed some of the best sushi I've ever had! The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and the service was prompt. There were plenty of regular customers, which made it clear that this is a beloved spot for the locals in the know.

I used to dislike sushi, but after being recommended this restaurant, I've become a regular ever since. Chris offers the freshest fish I've ever had, and Val is a wonderful server who is great to chat with. I've tried many items on the menu, including their delicious negimaki, tempura, teriyaki, sukiyaki, and tataki. Of course, their sushi is absolutely amazing. I can't get enough of this place!

As a Japanese person, I highly recommend this restaurant! Their sushi is truly authentic and outstanding. I never thought I could find real sushi in the States, but this place proved me wrong. I will definitely be returning! It's amazing to discover that delicious sushi can be enjoyed in America. If you're looking for genuine Japanese nigiri sushi, I highly recommend this spot. I'm also thrilled that they offer sake!
