Romano's Macaroni Grill - Tampa

My uncle brought me to this restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. They offer complimentary, fresh and warm bread with olive oil. My dad enjoyed the bread so much that he requested another loaf. My uncle was delighted with his customized pasta dish of spaghetti, red sauce, and roasted mushrooms. My dad ordered the Chicken Marsala and found it delicious. I was looking for a meal under 600 calories and opted for the pollo Caprese without cheese (as I don't eat cheese), which was light and delicious. My only suggestion would be to add another under 600 calorie option to the menu. The restaurant does display calorie information on the menu, but not online, which I found inconsistent. The service was excellent, with the server checking on us multiple times and even the chef coming over to ensure everything was satisfactory. The restroom was clean and well-maintained. I appreciated the option to choose a cold or non-cold table in the restaurant, adding to the rustic Italy vibe. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you have a craving for Italian food.

On January 19, 2022, my sister and I celebrated her birthday at this restaurant and had a fantastic server named Christa. We indulged in wine, fresh bread, pasta dishes, and a delicious cheesecake dessert for my sister's special day. Christa provided great menu recommendations and was attentive throughout our relaxed dinner. We will definitely return in the future thanks to the excellent service and wonderful dining experience.

Update!!! After speaking with the manager, who was extremely helpful and accommodating, I have decided to come back and give them 5 stars!! The food was amazing, and I will definitely be returning. Thank you to the staff for making things right!

Save yourself, I hadn't been to Romano's in years so we decided to stop in for diner. For a Friday night it was quiet. We had the chicken marsala, mushroom ravioli and truffle Mac n cheese. The Marsala tasted like salty brown gravy over chicken if I wasn't starving I frankly wouldn't have eaten it. The mushroom ravioli no better and penne pasta Mac n cheese was edible. Let's face it the place is at a point in a restuarants life where it just needs to close and a do total redo. Everything is worn and tattered and you stick to the floor as you walk to your table. I'm so sorry it was in its day a good restuarant but that day is gone. The wait staff did their very best so I'll commend them for a good job. Thank you.

Open kitchen atmosphere. Great tasting table bread. Hallways floor were dirty. The spinach and artichoke dip lacked any spinach it was more like cheese sauce and artichoke. Good portion sizes of entrees much of the family took leftovers to go.
