Steelbach - Tampa

I only visited for dessert and drinks, but wow, what a dessert! I tried their Oreo cheesecake, and it was huge. I also had an espresso martini, which I wished had a touch of cream liqueur to enhance the flavor. Otherwise, it was a classic espresso martini without much sweetness. The service was excellent and made me regret not having dinner there. This place is definitely a fantastic choice for dinner, a date, or just drinks. You can't go wrong here!

This restaurant is outstanding and is perfect for both date nights and group outings. Its location is convenient, with direct access from outside, so you don't need to enter Armature Works. The outdoor seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis. While the menu is somewhat limited, it still offers a wide variety of choices. The wine selection is good, and the bourbon list is extensive. Although the food took longer to arrive than we anticipated, the staff—including the hostess, server, and manager—were all friendly and courteous. The food itself was delicious; I’m definitely returning just for the fried chicken! The portions are quite generous, so you can easily share a couple of appetizers and a main dish. Keep in mind, though, that it can be on the pricier side, so plan to spend over $100.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was fantastic, and the seating area was quite comfortable. Our server was exceptional—she provided great recommendations and was very friendly. The food was delicious, well-seasoned, and juicy. The dessert was decent, but it didn't quite match the quality of the main meal. The starters were impressive, especially the mac and cheese, which was outstanding! I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning whenever I'm in Tampa.

Nothing but good things to say about my experience at Steelbach. I got the Avocado and Fennel salad topped with shrimp and it was amazing. Another person in our party got the steak and eggs and said it was fantastic. Another got the french toast and ate every last bite. The service was excellent! Great environment!

One of the cornerstone restaurants at Armature Works, Steelback has great natural lighting, a spacious dining room and pleasant staff. The food while very good did not hit the 5 star mark for me. The skillet salmon was excellent as was the grouper po boy. The steak sandwich was very light on steak and heavy on bread. My shrimp and grits was tasty but lacked the flavor profile I look for in that dish. Others are bound to like it, who don't have my bias. It's definitely worth the visit. I like some of the items on the dinner menu which I could not get at lunch. The whole Armature daytime ambiance is always fantastic.
