I opted for the build-your-own version, and it did not disappoint; they were generous with the fillings. The potato cakes were a delightful and tasty surprise! The Cuban bread was a bit dry and came without butter, but that's a minor issue. The others in my group also enjoyed their meals. There was just one small mix-up with a side dish, but our server quickly resolved it with a smile. The prices were very reasonable for a group of four. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a weekend brunch, and I look forward to returning to try their lunch or dinner menu sometime soon!
I've had Front Porch on my radar for quite a while, so I was thrilled to finally drop in for brunch. The restaurant, set in a beautifully renovated home, exudes a cozy vibe. The staff were friendly and more than willing to help us navigate the menu. Our meals were delicious, and the mimosas were expertly made. I definitely recommend this place for a return visit. We ordered: the Florentine Benedict, which was cooked to perfection, and Grumpy's Belt, which was delightful.
I ordered the meatloaf, while my boyfriend got the fish and chips. Unfortunately, the sides with my meal were cold, and the gravy was excessively salty. On the fish and chips, the batter was falling off, although the fries were quite good. I'm unsure if we'll return; the restaurant might benefit from hiring more staff or better reallocating their current team to address their ongoing service issues. This was our first visit, and while the ambiance was lovely, there wasn't much seating available for dining as most of it was designated for the bar. I would recommend making a reservation if you plan to go.
Nice little spot! Our server was super friendly and offered good insight to help us make some decisions for our brunch meals. I went with the huevos rancheros and definitely enjoyed it, and for my cocktail of choice I went with Joffrey's martini Seems like there's plenty of seating available both indoor and outdoor. They do offer daily specials as well which looked appealing to take advantage of if I do end up in the Seminole heights area again
It was a rainy night so we ate inside but I am sure that eating on the porch would have been nice. Ordered the French onion soup, wings and calamari. All were very good and tasty. Calamari is cut and battered in house, very tender. They served it with marinara and an Asian type of sauce. Both had their own unique flavor so you will have to try them for your self. Wings were served with their house made blue cheese dressing which was also very good. Chloe was our server and she was fantastic. Attentive and quick to offer recommendations when we had questions. We are inside so it was a small area so we were by the bar. No complaints about where we sat, just keep that in mind if you plan on eating inside. Overall we had a great experience.
