Big Fella's Burgers - Tamworth

This burger joint is more suited for takeout than dining in. The service was exceptionally courteous and attentive. However, the burger itself was not very appealing. Despite being loaded with toppings, the bun was falling apart.

After reading mostly positive reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try. However, we were disappointed with the slow service and the overall quality of the food. Our burgers, which were presented in paper like a takeaway, were not ready on plates as expected. The kids' slushies were more like regular drinks with little ice. The Thick shakes were smaller than the slushies. The chicken Snitzel burger was overcooked and dry, and the onion ring nuggets were also overcooked. My burger, the Crispy Nas Burger, had a burnt bun, overcooked bacon and chicken, and too much dressing making it soggy. The other burgers were average and lacking in flavor. The only positive note was the size of the burgers and the fresh lettuce and salad. Overall, we would not return to this restaurant.

The hamburgers should be heartier.
