Teamo Teahouse - Tamworth

I love the customer experience I receive, coffee is outstanding probably the best in town. Did not try the cupcakes but I hear they are divine. Do yourself a favour and give it a go.

We were invited to join a group of friends to dine after an event in Tamworth. In fairness I need to declare our friend hosted the event so we were guests and we we're asked to contribute to wine only.On that topic the wine list was pretty lack lustre with none of what we requested being available. What they could supply was a pretty average Pino Grigio that looked as though a glass had already been issued from the bottle. We didn't say anything because we'd waited so long to be served and then were held up by various searches for bottles we ordered that couldn't be found. The food was slow, very, very average and offered in tiny portions.One of the dishes was chicken skewers which was delivered exactly as described, chicken & skewers, no fresh herbs or marinade, spices or even salt or pepper. Dessert was a mish mash of whatever sweet things could be found in the fridge. Disappointing! We were a large group, it was a pre booking. How hard would it have been to spend the afternoon prepping some generous lush salads, offer some good bread, cheeses & olives and some fresh little sweet item to finish with? Good food invariably comes from a generous heart.Needless to say we will not be back.

We had an absolute blast at Teamo. The staff were really friendly and accomodating, with the food being absolutely excellent.I had the Ploughmans dish, and a Japanese Lime Green Tea, all of which was very lovely indeed. The food was fresh, with much of the 'speciality' ingredients being made by them; such as the honeycomb butter that dad had with his Ricotta Pancakes.I give Teamo my highest recommendation, a definite must visit.

Having given up coffee I am finding it hard to find my new alternative- leaf chai brewed on hot milk.This place has 6 types of leaf chai!Locals here tell me the coffee is awesome and the cakes and cookies are great.Will be coming back.

We have stopped here a couple of times now when passing through Tamworth. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. The coffee is very good. Simple quality food options. Highly recommend.
