The Old Bell Tower - Tamworth

Went for breakfast with my kids, sister and nephew was a great experience good value, food great even gave my three year old nephew free hot chocolate so he could join in the fun as we all got drinks incuded in the meal. Decor inside and out was beautiful.

Was a bit of a let down to see how this place went from a vibrant cafe to what it is now used to be so busy and well stocked now very quiet with low stock

I have heard many complaints about the Old Bell Tower after it was sold. Lucy and Lou (old owners) had built this new venue up to be so popular and friendly. The gifts were beautiful and the atmospherew was fantastic. What a pity someone else comes in and spoils it. Relatives had a good experience when they were here a couple of years ago and decided to go again and was so disappointed with the service and food. Another ordered and when it came out had to send it back. Disappointing as we needed this beautiful old church venue as a beautiful, quiet and friendly place which you could also buy a special gift as well.

Arrived a 12.30pm & they had specials. Went to order Lasagne, but they had already run out. Then ordered a Falafel wrap. About 20 minutes later they came out & said they had run out of hommous. Offered an alternative, but opted with Sour Cream. Then another 10 minutes later they came out & said they had "Accidentally" toasted the wrap. Due to the time already taken, we went with that, but what a mistake it was horrible, with cooked lettuce & leafy greens. The manager did come & explain that it was a busy period. I understood that, but be prepared!!! Won't be back.

Had breakfast two days in row at this place while on my visit to Tamworth. Had scrambled eggs with Salmon with hollandise sauce. Great service and this place has got some great women wear. All up worth a try if you are in town.
