B&b Cafe Hongu - Tanabe

Open even when most other restaurants have closed. Last order 6:30, closes at 7. Honey ume juice was pricey but very delicious!

Very good Thai curry and the salad was delicious. I'd definitely come back. There's an English menu if you need it.

Good foods. Mainly serve small pizza and japanese or thai curry. But for some stubborn western tourists they can also provide sandwich.

I was here on a rainy day so was really looking for a lunch-place with a nice atmosphere to hang out a bit. Beside that, they make good cappuccino and sandwiches!

Have received a death threat from the owner after leaving a negative review on his guesthouse next door (Kumano Backpackers). Read the other reviews and be careful. I never argued with him or anything, it just wasn't a great stay and he was yelling curse words while I was there. He responds to other reviews mockingly, and blocks the ones he can. People don't realize because the owner lives separately and doesn't interact much with the guests. Travel safe. Sorry to the wife who actually seemed nice when I talked to her in Japanese. Hope you guys find peace and happiness.
