Contribuisci feedbackI agree with other reviews that one of the employees was quite pressing. He didn't seem to care much when I tried to confirm my meal would definitely be vegan, but fortunately someone else was more attentive. Also came back to check if Tofu was okay and make sure the egg was omitted. Eating was okay, but nothing to scream.
Like the other reviewers, I found the service here to be a bit hard and it's a bit more friendly next door. However, I must say that the Masala Thosai was very tasty. I think sometimes vegan in small towns you can't couple with straw, take the good food and ignore the crappy service, you'll be okay.
We had thosai and roti canai who were pretty good. The waiter was very pushy when we went through the front of the restaurant, although and they put plastic straws in our water, which was regrettable (we forget not to specify, but it seems just like leaving such an obvious thing anyway). Eating tastes good, but probably not back.
I thought the food was average. The cheap Roti breakfast was good. Friendly staff.
There are a lot of budget Indian restaurants out here, and this is one of them. The food is delicious and the portions so big I generally have 2 meals out of it. All have vegetarian versions, which are generally actually vegan (verify if in doubt). They do Chinese, Malaysian and western food as well, but obviously Indian food is their specialty. However, the staff is really pushy... if you have been in Cameron Highlands and have walked the Main Street, 100% 1 of the guys working here (they have 1 really fanatic one) grabbed you by the sleeve of pushed their menu in your face. I watched it while waiting for my order and it’s rather disturbing. Once you’re in the friendliness goes away, I was literally yelled at by the same man and grabbed by the arm when my order was ready. Therefore I prefer the neighbors at Sri Brinchang. Food is the same, staff bit more relaxed and the food is actually slightly cheaper over there. [hidden link]
