The cafe is within a gift shop, with amazing unusual pressures and games for big and little kids, handmade chocolates to die for, greetings cards, wrap and loads more. A really enjoyable brief visit in our lunch break
Joyces is a delightful little shop to pop into...not only do they have a varied menu, full of healthy choices, they also sell an amazing selection of home made chocolates and can make a pretty box up for you as a present for family/friends. There are plenty of ideas for gifts too and an amazing array of greeting cards.. I love the owners choice of funny cards ! Recommend a visit here!
A disappointing experience overall. After a less than friendly greeting, we ordered a selection of breakfast lunch options. The menu lacks imagination and needs updating. The jacket potato was dry and hard. The bread used was cheap and the scrambled egg was almost completely white and lacked flavour. The salmon portion was tiny despite being advertised as a ‘salmon brunch’. Advise to the owner: invest in better quality ingredients and add more creative dishes to menu
My wife and I love Joyce's as it is an oasis of calm when we feel somewhat flustered while out shopping. Lovely and very friendly Staff, and there's nothing better than sitting in the Teashop having tea and toasted teacakes. There are also some great traditional gifts to buy if needed, and the selection of chocolates is to die gor.
We popped into Joyce's to buy chocolates for our wedding reception table. They were lovingly presented in gold and silver boxes for our guests. Sugar mice and footballs for the younger members of family were the order of the day. We were not disappointed on quality of chocolate. Staff helpful and friendly. Cards and serviettes were beautiful . Bought some of the serviettes. What a gem of a place. Will return.
