My Pluto pup and Chicko Roll was dry and wasn't edible. It was smothered in chicken salt. I had to add lots of sauce to cover the actual food I paid for. I took photos and went back and showed the lady working. She was so apologetic and she definitely redeemed the Oyster Shack customer service and more. She replaced my order with 2 hamburgers and added 4 big potato scallops. I called her and thanked her for her professional service and kind and friendly manner. I give her 10/10
Very poor service. Rude, specially the big woman. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The food was nice, but the rude attitude of the owner’s sister completely ruined the experience—won't be coming back. Kid-friendliness: Very rude to all children, especially when applying for a job. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Large Chips
Hubby ordered takeaway for lunch here yesterday, as he couldn't get anywhere near John Dory's due to some sort of event. Big mistake. The fish was almost inedible and tasted like it wasn't cooked. The calamari has the same texture of a rubber tyre and the chips were just ok. I can't comment on the service, as I wasn't there, but can say due to the abysmal quality of the food, I won't be experiencing it in my lifetime. Meal type: Lunch
Went in on Sunday at lunch to get some take away. Three people working all taking turns to poke at a piece of fish in the deep fryer while ignoring me. One other person waiting for their order. I waited about 10 minutes to be served but was ignored entirely. So went and bought a $5 pizza from Coles, cooked it at home and we ate it in the park. Meal type: Lunch
