Bamboo Beach And Home Stay

The view is amazing and the wooden houses are cute. Perfect if you just want to read your book. Don't expect any luxury or comfort. Don't go off season if you want to do activities. The price for transport is very high and it is not possible to rent your own transport in the hotel. The staff is difficult to communicate with (I think because of a language barrier).

Stayed here for two nights. For the price, it is not bad... however, be prepared for quite an adventure. At night, the wind is blowing very hard this the houses move. There were also a lot of bugs in the rooms... and our door lock also did not work so we had to leave our things in another room which our friends were staying in. There is complimentary WiFi however it doesn’t not connect in the rooms. Each morning from 7-9 there is free breakfast. You can also rent motocycles from the reception BUT our got a flat tire after being on the road for 20 min.

Stayed 3D2N at the resort. S$78 room for 2 nights. It was an hour car ride from the Tanjung Pinang ferry terminal. It has bare minimum facilities. No toiletries provided. Towels looks very old. There was something whitish found on table top and bed, we wiped the table top before placing anything on top of it. Sprayed the bed with insect repellent and laid towels on it to sleep however I was still bitten by something on my second night. No water heater provided in the attached bathroom, it was only provided in the common shower room. Very windy at night, the room bed rocks with the wind. There is no air conditioner but there is a dusty wall fan. You can most definitely hear your neighbours. The newer rooms with full glass windows seems to look cleaner and better. Didn't manage to catch any sunrise as it was cloudy. Breakfast was fried rice and fried noodles bee hoon only. It was too oily for us. Tea and coffee available. Will not choose to go back to this resort next time.

The place far from the nearby crowd, so it is enjoying when you eat your food without noise. Where the whole area is sea and beach. The menu has different seafood with fresh fish, crabs, Calamari and shells. They also have local vegetable dishes, mie goreng, nasi goreng and soup. They keep their furniture and interiors simple. And after the prevention of Covid-19 they keep distance to each seat table and offer hand washers before they enter the premises. Overall, the experience is good.

Fair price. Good location. Unique accommodation. The best place to watch the sunrise. The water below is clear, I can see the seaweed from above. Everything here is beautiful. But don't expect much. No air conditioning and bed are hard. But still I enjoyed my stay.
