Zack's Taco Shack - Tannersville

According to my daughtet the Badass Steak Burrito was amazing. My son said the Buffalo chicken quasadillla was really good. My shrimp taco was soggy but at least the flavor was good The lobster and shrimp empenada was mediocre, lacking flavor. I would have given this meal 4 stars but I think it's a very questionable business practice to add a 10% service charge for orders over 10 dollars. That left a very bad taste in my mouth....just like the empenada. Either add 10% to your food cost or cut out this practice in my humble opinion. I'm absolutely love this place...the tacos are absolutely to die for. Whether you are out on the bike for a ride through the Pocono's or live in the area, you have to stop by and try their Shrimp Boom Boom Tacos. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the mango salsa was a perfect accompaniment to the boom boom sauce. If I had to nit pick one thing....I would recommend they throw the corn tortillas on the grill and toast them a little, as they tend to fall apart. However that is not enough to keep me away from their Tacos! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting, although there is limited seating as the place is very small.
