Nice that we waited....We wanted to try a lobster roll, but they were sold out. we had the turkey club, stacked high, crispy toast and speck, and an excellent order of the frits. the area consists of picnic tables in the open with a breathtaking view of the water.
I had a lobster roll and my man had a reub. the lobster roll was my favorite of the many I had on our trip. my man said that the reuben is the best he ever had! and he had many. we enjoyed. free on the water. the service was great! we were on the way to visit friends, so we went back and bought, carving, broth and dessert. they were all absolutely delicious.
Who knew they had specialized in montreal smoked meat? my man was just thrilled to find a fried bologna sandwich and we shared an eclair. I love the pick-up window on the side of the building. that was a great stop to lunch!
White sails is our goal for a casual bite to eat in summer. the club sandwich and the steak sub are delicious.
Talk about a Roadside Attraction. We were looking for a light snack and a drink and this place appeared around the very next corner. Thinking we were going to get maybe a bagel or a tart imagine our surprise to find every imaginable home made...bakery delight on the shelves. Bonus were the lakeside chairs. Heaven!
