A different experience than others have shared, with some contrasting details worth sharing. My wife and I arrived around 5:30 PM on Friday. We were the only patrons except for one to go order picked up. Without doubt, the Moringa Indian Curry House has a good presentation: unique menus adorned with a carved wood cover, tables with this eye catching blue streak of a translucent polymer, pretty interiors, quaint configuration of tables. Things started off right with their food selection. The offerings had great variety apps, soups, usual indian fare with some creative twists, and drinks. We ordered samosas, chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, and a mango lassi. Let 's see if we want dessert. The prices were average to above average. Again, let 's see if the cost justifies delivered value. In hindsight, when we ask ourselves if we would recommend this or would return, the answer is, unfortunately, No , but only slightly so. There are a few reasons why this is. We took a table by the window, which had a nice view of the street, but was accompanied by a very warm interior of the restaurant and a buzzing fly. The air conditioning, if on, did not reach where we were sitting. The introductory glasses of water were room temperature and without ice, on a day that reached 91 degrees and high humidity. The presented samosas were fine actually presentation was very nice yet the flavors of the samosas were so so. The chicken dish has chicken pieces of varying textures, some overcooked some not. Sauce was good. The downfall of the meal was the mango lassi: it was served in a clear plastic cup with a straw, the lassi was not cold, and the emulsion had separated? Perhaps water was added as a clear layer showed at the bottom of the cup when we received it. Service was good. Person was friendly. However, when I wrap up the $64 total (with 15% tip included) with the overall experience here, I felt disappointed with this visit to this Indian restaurant.
Great find on our way back from New York to Boston. Close by from the nearest exit. Extensive veg and non veg menu to please all appetites. All drinks are a must try. Our group of 7 tried lemonade, mango lassi , tea and coffee. Chicken appetizer , curries, naan and biryani. I definitely recommend this place . Every dish was cooked to perfection and again loved the presentation on the drinks.
