Lady Rae's Cafe - TARALGA

We went to Lady Rae's on the busy June weekend. It was very popular and very busy. despite that we had a relatively short wait. Not that it mattered as we managed to get a table on the street in the sun and could watch the world go by. The food was plentiful and very tasty. I had a BLT with avocado and my husband had the steak sandwich with the lot. I would go the steak sandwich next time, not that the BLT wasn't good. The chocolate milkshake was yummy. Great service by friendly staff.

Terrific steak sandwich and BLT, made from fresh ingredients, cooked while you wait. Sure beats any fast food restaurant. Very friendly staff. Would recommend the stop.

Had a delicious steak sandwich on Turkish Bread. It was enormous and exceptionally fresh and such good value. Amazing home made cakes and slices and a great cup of coffee. Fabulous place to stop and very close to Goulburn. They were very busy, but our food was served within 10 minutes. Owner is the chef and you can tells she takes it seriously. Lovely old weatherboard building - you can sit outside or inside.

I don't go to Taralga often, but on a recent trip there I'm glad I chose this cafe. The food was both amazing and plentiful. My hamburger came with sides and completely filled the plate. There is outdoor seating, and the service was fabulous.

Local friends took us to Lady Rae's for lunch. The cafe has wonderful old world country charm and the food was fabulous. It was very busy and we were lucky to get a table. Lady Rae was very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed mixing with locals and visitors alike.
