Michel Burnichon - Tarare

Excellent dîner et petit-déjeuner. Nous avons été logés au premier étage, ce qui n'était pas idéal pour des personnes ayant des difficultés à marcher, aucune aide n'a été proposée.

Le service à l'hôtel et en salle de restauration est très aimable, mais cette année après 4 visites, j'ai noté une nette dégradation de la qualité de la cuisine : magret cuit de manière approximative, sec et assez fade, ravioles mal réchauffées, certaines même froides, ce qui me laisse penser qu'elles étaient pré-cuites ? J'avais demandé au serveur... pas de réponse ! Un plat à la carte impossible à obtenir, sous prétexte que la carte va bientôt changer ! En résumé, une grande déception ! Sur les 3 choix du menu du jour, 2 accompagnaient des pâtes, ce qui témoigne d'un manque de réflexion sur l'élaboration du menu. Cependant, je reconnais qu'ils ont écouté ma demande de ne pas avoir de pâtes et m'ont proposé un accompagnement de légumes d'été très bien cuisiné. En ce qui concerne le dessert : l'île flottante aux pralines n'est en réalité que des œufs en neige pochés dans l'eau, flottant sur une crème anglaise rose et très sucrée. Je cherche encore la praline : son amande, son croquant, son goût si particulier. Clairement un mensonge, pour ne pas dire une tromperie dans la dénomination ! J'apprécie beaucoup cet hôtel, cependant en ce qui concerne le restaurant, il y a une baisse de qualité - le thon mariné du buffet a été remplacé par du saumon, la marinade est moins subtile : simple sauce soja, là où autrefois il y avait une marinade plus élaborée.

We arrived in tarare on Monday night. this restaurant was one of the only places open in the city. very busy. I guess that was more connected to the day of the week than the restaurant itself. we waited until the opened staff was very friendly and gave us an English menu. we ordered the cold buffet. the rest was average koleslaw and couscous salad. we ordered the tornados. my bark was hard. brussel sprouts and borons were boiled over. parmesan tomato was burned slightly. Eat was delicious, but not great. the prices were reasonable. I'm not sure I'm back.

We have chosen this hotel on the basis that it had a good restaurant. we were not disappointed. we were in a position to go to the restaurant, earlier than the opening time advertised. the personal was pleasant and friendly. we chose the menu du marché and paid extra to have the coquilles st jaques dishes. we had a carafe of white and a carafe red with our meal. my wife had a starter of the cold buffet while I had the scallops I had followed with calving in a scallop sauce and my wife had the scallops. included in the menu price were cheese or dessert. eating was good as the service. when we finished our meal, the restaurant was almost full, which was a good note on its standard on Thursday night.
