Kowin Restaurant - Taree

We had Mongolian lamb and fried rice for dinner tonight and it was very delicious. We recommend Kowin Restaurant for a great dining experience.

I had lunch with my partner at Kowin Chinese restaurant in the city. We were looking for a healthy and affordable lunch option to warm us up on a cold winter day. The restaurant offers lunch specials with fried rice or plain rice, with various sauces and combinations to choose from. They also have a mix of traditional Chinese and Australian cuisine on their menu. The lunch specials are priced at $14 per meal, which includes rice, choice of meat, and sauce. They also have a licensed bar where you can enjoy alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.

The food is served quickly, even when the restaurant is busy, and is delicious. Our favorites are the pad thai, yum yum beef, and the special fried rice with king prawns. The steamed dumplings are also delicious, especially when paired with the sweet and spicy dipping sauce. Our dishes are delivered promptly, fresh, and delightful. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and we always have a pleasant dining experience.

We were recommended to eat here....it was before a performance of mama mia at tec, which was by the way superb and that is more than can be said for the meal. the Satay star was ok, and the Kachang-Puwn the woman was after. here I decided to have a tom yum beef frit that was sticky and swimming in oil. there were no chillies to see, and the court was blowing to say the least. to supplement injuries, I always reacted badly to msg and this court had a lot, so I kept up half night. that said the service was moderate and friendly and the price appropriate. it was obvious that the majority of their business was taken away. we will have gone back. probably not.

First time staying in Taree and found this special little restaurant. Outstanding food and friendly fast service. Definitely recommend.
