Eat'n Park - Tarentum

My parents and I stopped here for breakfast on Sunday morning. The place was jumpin' and there was a bit of wait before we could be seated, but they got us in and our food didn't take long to come out at all. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. This location is definitely doing the chain proud.

Typically a fantastic dining experience. Unfortunately, today was not the case. We had to grab our own utensils, our drinks were never brought, and our dessert arrived melted. We will not be returning.

Had a good meal of appetizers and a piece of their pecan pumpkin cheesecake. The waitress was great and the food was good as usual.

However, when I got home and tried to eat one of the cookies, I discovered they were extremely stale and hard as bricks. I live too far away to return them, so I had to throw them out. As someone who is willing to splurge on quality items, I was disappointed that the cookies did not meet my expectations. Overall, Eat n Park missed the mark for me today.

I really enjoy dining at Eat'n Park every now and then! The food is decent for a diner-style restaurant, not amazing but not terrible either. The service is average. I must say, the person who bakes the pies here is exceptional! I would definitely give them 5 stars just for their delicious pies!
