Osteria Piccola Cucina - Târgu-Mureş

Wanting to eat some mediteranean food, some seafood or fish, my husband and I were for the first time to Osteria. All was absolute amazing ! The place is in a quiet area, at the edge of the city, with a nice terrace full of flowers and inside the music was not loud. It conquered me at once ! Stylish, very clean, elegant, nice paintings, flowers, i loved everything. We chose to eat shrimps in a very good tomato sauce and potatoes with baked red peppers, with some delicious italian bread (focaccia con parmigiano). Very tasty ! To the desert we spoiled us with volcano of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Heaven ! All was tastefully, exceptional serving, great ambience ! We definitely come back for another round of treat !

We recently found out about this little restaurant, which is rather new in town. I was very pleased with the attention to details in decoration and creating a nice atmosphere. Loved how the music is italian and creates a perfect atmosphere, and how the drapes match the wallpaint and the painting, and other such small details. Clearly a lot of attention to details went into creating this place.The highlight is of course the food. While you won't get a huge selection (about 8-9 types of pizza, about 10 types of pasta etc.) there is something for everyone. The soups (both the tomato soup and especially the onion soup) were absolutely great. The pizza was great, actually better than most pizza i had in italy (the northern part), well balanced, thin crust, quality ingredients, just perfect. Too bad they don't (for now) do deliveries. The prices are mid-range, not cheap home-delivery pizza prices (prices range between 18-26 RON for a pizza) but not too expensive either. For the quality you get i'd say it's great value for money. I hope they keep up the good work.

The menu is not overwhelming, the food is excellent (the best foccacia and pizza in town), service lovely and fast, location is quiet and romantic.

The best place in town ! Very good risotto , good wine , great service ! If you are checking in on facebook your going to recive a free desert witch is absolute deliciouse !

At first we were welcomed by the beautiful ambiance. Then by the beautiful italian music. And then by the amazing food. The filleto di manzo was divine. One of the best italian choices in town.
