Restaurant Casuta Bunicii

Not the best food in town but pretty good fish spread. Nice atmosphere and a place with birds for kids.

Came here with my family and I must say the food was absolutely delicious! It came out rather slow, but it was definitely worth the wait. The portions are enormous too, so make sure you don't eat a couple of hours before you go out lol. Very rustic, very authentic and the service was very relaxed. Would definitely go back when I'm back in Targu Mures and would definitely recommend it

Inside is nice and clean but a lot of space with few customers, prices are halfway decent but It's not cheap, service it's average It almost feels like it's ran by older folk in a more traditional way, we ordered tribe soup and it was pretty good so the food quality is good, paying your bills a little bit strange because the machine doesn't really reach all the way to your tables You have to get up and pay your bill somewhere else, The backyard tables are nice but there's a lot of traffic nearby so expect to hear a lot of engine noise in things like those.

Great food and location, but the dissapontment came when we got the check. I am not sure if we were just "lucky" or this is the restaurant policy. Even if on the menu, for example, it was written chicken wings with souce with the price in the right side of the page, on the check we paid extra the sauce. And it was the same for most of the food dishes. On our way out we explined to the waitress but she did not seem to understand what the problem was. For some reason now we even regret not calling Customer Protection. Maybe next time we are passong by :)
