Goosefeather - Tarrytown

Every single bite was perfection. I don’t write this lightly; this place is incredibly special and Chef is a wizard. I can’t wait to go back.

The great ambiance and surroundings really set the expectations high. We stuck to their vegetarian options, and really enjoyed their spin on Chinese flavors. It’s not your typical, traditional Cantonese cuisine — there’s a heavy mix of Thai and northern Chinese influence in the dishes. It was a great place to spend our anniversary date night dinner. Cocktails and desserts were also unique and went well with the main menu.

We joined friends here and the food was exotic with wonderful flavors — yummy! Unfortunately the tables were close together and it was difficult to hear one another which did not lend to good conversation.

Beautiful space. My husband and I were looking forward to celebrating our 3rd year anniversary for dinner here, after stumbling upon it a year ago. Reservations were made in advance and unfortunately due to a simple oversight on my part (booking outside seating without heating in frigid temperatures was not intentional), the GM chose to use an unwelcome tone with us to say that there was no way we could be seated inside. There’s a reason why Chef Dale is a Top Chef favorite on Bravo’s hit show. Goosefeather is a restaurant that Tarrytown can be truly proud of. This shared plate Chinese fusion dining experience is one that I won’t soon forget!
