Frankie's Italian Kitchen - TARZANA

As for parking, it’s standard, but the mostly Latinx staff are friendly and helpful. I hope Frankie continues to treat them well. The seating area is clean and cozy, and I really hope nothing changes. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between friendly and stylish. I highly recommend this place!

The servers were friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, the food was mediocre. The sauces on the Aubergine Parmesan and the accompanying spaghetti were pretty lackluster, and the baked ziti was also bland. The garlic rolls were the highlight of the meal.

An institution. Nothing less. Outstanding food and a great restaurant. Has been for about 30 years. Hard to believe it, b/c I have been eating at Frankie's since it was whatever it was before it became Frankie's. Lots of good memories there.

We were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant for a small family group to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We needed to eat a little earlier than the average dinner time, so we were looking for a place that was open before 5 pm. Thankfully, Frankie's was open at 4 pm. We could make same-day reservations, and because we went before the dinner rush, we had the whole place to ourselves! There is a choice to dine on the beautiful patio or inside, where it is nicely decorated, and Italian music plays quietly to set the tone. Everyone raved about their order choices. Lasagna, Chicken Piccata, Eggplant Parmesan, Raviolis, and Pizza, it was all delicious. The antipasto salad was a little different since they give it to you all chopped up. However, it was still good. One of the biggest hits were the garlic bread rolls. Give Frankie's a try, and hopefully, you will get Carol as your waitress. She was absolutely amazing!

I had an amazing experience at Frankie's! The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The portions were generous, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The sauces were outstanding as well. The prices were very reasonable. And I can't forget to mention the garlic rolls—they were fantastic! The ambiance inside Frankie's is also very pleasant.
